What we DO, how we DO it, why we DO it—these are the things that made 2020 a year to remember. The recent closures due to COVID-19 were an uncertain time for many. Thank you for your support in helping us reimagine how to best serve the unique needs of the children of San Antonio. We held strong to our commitment to joyfully serve our community through DO It At Home, our initiative to safely bring STEM, the arts and literacy to families in the comfort of their homes, and by launching new programs to serve medically fragile children.
We believe that growing minds through joyful interactive learning and discovery is still possible, DOable, and critical, during these unprecedented times. We are so grateful for your support through this process.
But we still have a lot of work ahead of us. When the pandemic fully subsides, gaps between high- and low-achieving students will become larger and more apparent, with children from lower socioeconomic backgrounds hit hardest. For many, The DoSeum is the only bridge to overcome this gap.
DO means cultivating empathy and resilience for those who learn differently. DO means bringing the highest safety standards for guests and staff. Help us to keep open the doors to our DoSeum so that we can continue to DO for many more generations to come.
We ask you to consider a gift to The DoSeum to ensure the learning, discovering, and growing does not stop. Your investment means even more during this time and can be made through a Circles Society Philanthropic Membership, Make Your Mark Paver, or contribution to our Annual Fund.
