The DoSeum is more than a children’s museum. As a premier leader in informal education and a convener for joyful learning experiences, we cherish the role we’ve played in connecting families and transforming communities over the past 25 years. We’ve always taken great care to provide a safe and healthy place for children to learn, explore, create, and discover.
Now, as we begin to implement a phased re-opening model during this extraordinarily challenging time, we do so with a continued focus on the health and wellbeing of our Guests and Staff and a strong commitment to maintain high standards in our safety and cleaning procedures that align with regulations and recommendations established by the CDC, city and state mandates, the Texas Education Agency, and other national museum and camp organizations.
Over the years, we’ve served to inspire and empower kids to DO their best to overcome challenges and solve problems. As we look forward to re-opening our doors, we invite all our Guests to partner with us in our efforts to continue to promote a joyful, safe, and healthy environment for all. Together we can DO this.

Online ticket purchases only available for General Admission.
Q: Am I required to wear a face mask?
Yes, all Guests 10 years and older are required to wear a face mask/covering to follow the recommendation of Bexar County. Children ages 2 years and older are highly encouraged to wear a face mask/covering as well, per CDC recommendations.
Q: Will you accept cash?
While we encourage cashless transactions, we will accept cash at Check-In, The DoSeum Store and Bakery Lorraine Café.
Q: Will I have to wait in line when I arrive?
We suggest arriving 15min before your timed session. Please bring a hat or umbrella in the event there is an unexpected delay.
Q: May I purchase discounted tickets online?
All discounted tickets must be purchased on site and require proof of eligibility at Check-In. View our daily discounts here.
Q: May I bring outdoor food and beverages?
Visitors may bring small snacks, bottled water, and baby food/formula. Food and beverages are not allowed inside galleries. No outside meals allowed. Meals must be purchased from the cafe or consumed prior to entering The DoSeum.
Bakery Lorraine at The DoSeum features healthy, kid-friendly meals and snacks to tame hungry tummies or satisfy a sweet craving.
Q: May I leave The DoSeum and re-enter?
Admission is good for the duration of your timed session. Guests may leave and return during their timed session and simply show their receipt or their check-in identifier (sticker or band) at the front desk upon re-entry. You do not need to go through the check-in line for re-entry.
Q: I purchased a general admission ticket earlier this year, may I use it?
Any tickets purchased or gifted prior to our temporary closure will be honored after Labor Day. General Admission ticket/Comp ticket are valid for only one timed session.
UPDATE: General Admission tickets may now be purchased online or in person. ALL Member and Discounted tickets must be purchased on site at the start of the desired timed session.
