JOIN US FOR HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS

Come and enjoy our daily workshops and pop-up activities located throughout The DoSeum. Discover and create along with your child as they explore concepts in STEM, the arts, and literacy. All of our activities, workshops, and programs are led by our highly qualified DoSeum educators.

LITTLE MAKERS WORKSHOP
Saturday • 11:00-12:00 pM | Ages 1 - 5

Let’s tinker and make! Give your little one an opportunity to innovate as they have fun building and tinkering in our Maker Workshop in Innovation Station! Little Makers Workshops are designed by DoSeum educators to focus on developmentally appropriate maker skills for early learners, such as sharing and tool use, to help develop social and motor skills.

MAKER WORKSHOP
Saturday • 3:00 - 4:00PM | Ages 6 - 11

It’s about the journey AND the destination! Empower your young innovator to tinker, test, and create. It’s a process of trying, failing, and trying again. In our Maker Workshops, skills, and problem-based learning will guide learners through the engineering design process, where they will practice maker-centered learning skills—collaboration, tool use, learning from failure, and building resilience.

LITTLE ARTIST WORKSHOP
Sunday • 12:30 - 1:30 pM | Ages 1 - 5

Let’s get creative! Join us for our Little Artist workshop, designed for learners 5 years and younger. During these workshops, children will get explore textures, create with colors, and get messy! Your little artist will also learn great studio habits, such as caring for their artistic tools, embracing challenges, talking about their work, and exploring new materials. Will we discover the next Picasso?

ARTIST WORKSHOP

Sunday • 3:00-4:00 pM | Recommended for ages 6 and Up

Artsy smartsy! Join us for our Artist workshop, designed for learners ages 6 years and older. During these workshops, DoSeum educators will lead Guests through artistic projects that may include known artistic techniques, art in STEAM, and self-expression. Your artist will learn great studio habits, such as caring for their artistic tools, embracing challenges, talking about their work, and exploring new materials. Will we discover the next Frida Kahlo?

STORYTIME

Ignite your child’s imagination with classic and new tales from children’s literature. Travel to new worlds, go on brave adventures and meet new friends. Led by a DoSeum educator, the interactive setting will have you and your child interpreting images, singing songs, and acting out playful scenes.
