The DoSeum is San Antonio's only museum just for children where kids learn by doing, creating and tinkering, instead of just looking and listening.
The San Antonio Children's Museum was founded in 1995 to create a hands-on educational space for children. In 2015, we transformed into The DoSeum - a STEM-focused children’s museum. As such, The DoSeum serves as a “charging station” to power up kids’ minds and support the important work of schools and community organizations. Our exhibits and programs promote play, invite discovery, spark interest, and develop positive attitudes towards learning across critical content areas.
The DoSeum is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. As a museum for ALL our city’s children, we are committed to offering low-cost or free STEM programming to San Antonio-area children attending Title I schools. We plan to serve over 10,000 kiddos annually through these avenues! But these efforts come with a price tag. That’s where your support comes in. By helping us close the gap between expenses and revenues, you are helping us close the gap on extending joyful learning and discovery to all San Antonians.
We are proud to hold a 4-star rating with Charity Navigator, the highest rating available.
