Spooky Monster Wreath

You're in for a wicked fun time for this DIY — we’re making Spooky Monster Wreaths! This DIY allows kids to work on color and shape recognition, fine motor skills, counting, and size differentiation. Using cardboard, colorful pom-poms, and googly eyes, we’ll create a Spooky Monster Wreath to decorate your home - just in time for Halloween!

What You'll Need

  • Pompoms in varying sizes

  • Glue (either hot glue or regular glue)

  • Googly eyes in different sizes

  • Cardboard

  • Scissors

  • String or ribbon

  • A pen, marker, or pencil

Building Tips and Tricks

  • You’ll want to stack some of the pompoms on top of each other to make it look like the monsters are stacked on top of each other. Arrange most of the bottom layer with the larger pompoms then add the smaller ones on top.

  • Remember not all of your monsters need eyes. Also, some monsters have more than 2 eyes and some only have one eye!

  • Glue the string to the wreath and place it under the pompoms.
