Dyslexia affects as much as 20% of the world’s population. Although Dyslexia is labeled as a learning disability, it can be seen as a different way of thinking and providing creative advantages. For this Ask A DOer, we feature special guest, LeDerick Horne, a performance poet, a national advocate for people living with learning disabilities, and our 2020 Outside The Lunchbox Luncheon @Home keynote speaker! His question comes from Morgan, who wants to know: “How Does Dyslexia Make You A Better Poet”? Join us as LeDerick explores how Dyslexia has made him a better poet.
To learn more about LeDerick or to purchase tickets for this year’s Outside The Lunchbox Luncheon @Home on October 6th, visit the Outside The Lunchbox page.
